"A Treasury of Magical Knitting" by Cat Bordhi
Has anyone taken a look at this book? I'm very interested in it and it's sequel. I just don't want to shell out the $$ unless I know it's going to be worth it, and my library doesn't have either of them.
Thanks! |
request your library to order it. That's what I did.

Cat's website has good previews of the patterns in her books.

I haven't seen those books, but they look very cool. I'm going to check with my library. I ususally find stuff like that on half.com but they didn't have either one right now.

Oh, goodness, you guys revived an old post of mine! :-)
Since I posted this, I convinced our library to buy both this book & The Second Treasury of Magical Knitting. I like the 2nd one better. It's full of felted bowls & such. The first one was OK, but it wasn't nearly as exciting as the 2nd one. Some of her stuff is just plain wacky -- like the tentacle bag and jester hat. She definitely has some challenging items, though. |
I agree with Dotmom61, some of here stuff is just plain wacky.

Wacky...yet creative. Not sure I would necessarily make any of them, fun to look though.
