A pattern question...K3tog, Work 1 row?
I am following a pattern to knit a hat. The instructions say to...
Shape crown: Row 1 (RS): (K7, K3tog) 4 times. 32 sts. Work 1 row. Row 3: (K5, K3tog) 4 times. 24 sts. Work 1 row. Does this mean I knit 7 sts, then 3tog to equal 32 sts. Then just knit (or do I purl since it's the WS) the next row? Then continue the decreasing instructions? I am a little confused. |
Quote:
Knit 7, knit 3 stitches together, knit 7, knit 3 stitches together, knit 7, knit 3 stitches together, knit 7, knit 3 stitches together -- by the end of this row, you should have 32 stitches on the needle. Row two: purl For row 3: knit 5, knit 3 stitches together (do these two things 3 more times) -- by the end of ths you should have 24 stitches on the needle. Row four: purl hope that helps! |
Thank you
Just did the 1st row. I think I got it. Thanks! :D
