Pattern question

Hi, I'm new to this forum and really happy to be here and having the expertise of other knitter's help. I am currently knitting a purse. The directions say to "sl2 wyif, k2. The next row says "sl2 wyib, p2". Do I slip the stitch wyif as if I'm going to purl and the sl2 wyib as if I'm going to knit? Thanks for your help. :XX:

That's how I interpret the pattern :thinking: Go with your instinct.....(and then if it doesn't work :frog: :D
