Knit front loop and knit back loop

I am new at this. what is knit in front loop and back look. I've looked at many instructions, some say knit as usual, some say knit loop. What is the loop. Can someone please help me - I'm lost :(

sorry....just copying and pasting from one i did yesterday. ;)

a good place to look on here is on the "abbreviations explained" tab....there are videos on there. in the left hand column look for K1 f&B which is knit 1 in the front and back of the loop. there are two videos one for continental and one for english. here is the conti link.
