FO: Diagonal Knit Baby Blanket
1 Attachment(s)
aka NEBB! (Never ending baby blanket).
I thought this would be a great blanket to make...and although it looks nice and warm and stuff....it was SUCH a boring pattern. I can't tell you how long I've had this darn thing on the needles. The first half of it went pretty quickly....but to finish it was just mind numbing. It looks dark on one side, but that's just the shadow. I used Lion Brand Homespun yarn for this in Baroque. The blanket is for my cousin who just had her girl on Monday. I shipped the blanket off today and enclosed a poem with it: A blanket for Brooklyn Rose To keep warm those fingers and toes. She'll be snuggled up so tight And won't ever be chilly at night. (Thought that was kinda cute). |
It was worth it! Love the poem. Maybe this will turn out to be THE blanket with years of love poured into it!

Great job! It looks so cozy!
(I can only imagine how mind-numbing it was to knit...a true gift of love  ) |
