Ball Winder Q ???

Are there electric ball winders or are they all hand crankers?

Ingrid 12-29-2005 10:44 PM

I found two places that said they used to carry them, but they are no longer available. It only takes a couple of minutes to wind by hand, anyway, so I never even considered if they were made. I did find thisthough for all the do-it-yourselfers.

Ingrid,
I printed out the directions weeks ago for the diy ball winder. I haven't tried it yet, I'll report back after I give it a whirl.

Thanks guys :) My boyfriend thought it might hurt my wrist and take forever with a hand crank ball winder. He may want to also try the diy instructions though...he's crazy about DIY with stuff like that. I'll let him know. Thanks again :)

Unless you are the dantiest and most petite precious little flower petal, or you are the princess from "The Princess and the Pea", you wont hurt your wrist. In fact, I think the ball winder REDUCES the stress from winding balls the old fashioned way!
