Magic Loop

I just tried magic loop last night. Whooo Hoooo!!!
I loved it! Speedy speedy. And not a ladder in sight.

I may never use a dpns again. :D

YAY!!

What length cable do you use?

I used 40" - that seems to be the most recommended size.

Honestly though - I was using a size 2 needle but the yarn I had was a worsted. A bit dense. Would make a nice ski sock lol

:(

The longest I have is a 21...guess it's dpns for me until I can get a 40....

I was doing hand springs when my brain finally absorbed the Magic Loop concept.

I used two 24" needles, but I did have to switch to DPs whem I got to the very end of the crown of the hat.

If you are using TWO circs it's not magic loop. Magic loop is using one long circular needle. Why did you switch to DPNs? I do the top of my hats in either magic loop or using two circs.
