Pretty Bulky Sweater - Lion Woolease T&Q
1 Attachment(s)
Here is the sweater I'm working on. I can't wait to finish it! I've never made a sweater before, so wish me luck! It is going quickly, since the yarn is very thick. (Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick yarn)

The pattern comes from a book called "The Learn to Knit a Sweater Book", published by the American School of Needlework, in association with Lion Brand Yarn. I think I got the book at Michaels. The pattern is very easy, and fun to do. There are great instructions, with clear diagrams that really help. :XX:

Thanks for the encouragement! I'll be one proud knitter when I can wear that sweater. The color of the yarn is Spice, and it exactly matches the color my hair used to be when I was young. Now that I'm older, I'm turning more ways than one. :??

That looks like a nice, comfy, stretchy stitch, too.....GREAT JOB!

You have inspired me! I have that book also, but have not made anything out of it yet. I saw that pattern, liked it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Also, I love that yarn--that's my favorite color. Maybe now, I can start a sweater, since I've seen how pretty yours looks. I've never used Lion Brand's Thick & Quick.
