Update got the tote....Does anyone have this knitting tote?

OK I really do not need another tote cause I Have my orange knitters tote.. but  I was looking at Joann.com today and saw this.. thought hmm maybe best for 1 project items, fast trips to LYS, that type of thing... only thing is I can't find a photo of the interior without the yarn lol.. so was wondering if anyone owns this or seen it and what do you think of it?

If anyone buys from Avon, they have a set of four totes for $20.00 which I just ordered...cannot wait to see them in person, but they look pretty good for little projects!

here's a photo

I love totes!!

I don't have an "official" knitting tote but I sure have plenty of other totes that I use. I have a nice black and white Toile fabric tote that I just love. It snaps shut and is big and roomy. Right now I keep my Entrelac knitting in it.

Then I have another stiff tote that is fabric covered and I use that for my yarns for the gd's sweater that I am working on. I like having different totes for different projects. :XX: :XX:

I haven't seen that one...it looks cool....

brendajos 03-08-2006 03:47 PM

it does look cool. I am hoping that someone who has it might take a picture of the inside so we can see what kind of pockets and stuff are in there. I never understand why people who sell these things don't think we want to SEE what the inside LOOKS like as opposed to trying to picture what they have written!

anybody have pictures of the inside of it??

this is my Knitting Tote
http://www.right-tool.com/canrigbag.html
I saw it, and I wanted it
all those pockets with that open space in the middle
the outermost pockets are the right size for needles, the ones behind them are good sizes for Circular Needles and guage check and needlesize check thingie
the two end pockets are the PERFECT size for a day planner
weekly callendars

Hey guys I Just got the bag I used the 50% off coupon off current codes (thanks again brendajos for the enabling  )

I like it.. I will still use my orange bag for around the house or trips to WV when I need to take alot but this bag is just right for the projects I just need to take to the LYS... the picture of the inside is just black lol.. no pockets but its very roomy and measures about 15 inches in depth also has black nylon type fabric that can be pulled closed to protect the contents of the bag... the outside flap holds your needles.. the straight needles I put in the first slots.. my dpns are in the bottom slots.. I still have elastic bands for other things as well right now its holding a 6 circ. needle... then there is room for my others circs to stay in their pkgs... on the outside front flap is a pocket I have my gauge thingy in... on the sides a Pocket for water, cell phone, and a player that you can put your head phones through a slit and listen to music while you knit.. has a back pack feature or can be worn on shoulder...

AWESOME! Thanks for the update!

How big is it? Is it stiff or squishy? I can't seem to find one that is sturdy, but flexible enough to fit in small spaces; one I used to use was very rigid and I always had problems maneuvering it in the car, under my desk at work, cramming in at the yarn store, etc.... Now I use a big ole floppy one and it's great, but it doesn't handle the "places for stuff" task at all
