Mini Skull Tote and Heart tote

Woohoo !!!! Here's a pic of my first ever bag, my 2nd ever felted object, and the first thing I have actually sewn since Home Ec in 8th grade. I got frustrated with the lining but after 6 hours of working and leaving and working and leaving and calling my aunt and uncle to get out of it, lol, I finally got it done and I am so pleased with it's outcome. This is going to be a Christmas present for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Now I have 2 more bags to line, rats  .

Awesome! Your perserverance definitely paid off with the lining, it looks great! :cheering:

:inlove: :happydance: :inlove: :happydance: That is soooooooooooooooooo awesome!!! I second Ang's post about the juxtaposition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Great job!!! Pleeeeeease tell us it's all yours!!! Where's the pattern from??? Or did you make it up? WE NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1  |
LMAO! I wish I knew what juxtaposition meant.
The pattern isn't mine. Don't think I could be that clever on my 1st try on a bag. Here's where the pattern came from http://www.helloyarn.com/miniskulltote.htm I have modified the chart twice, though. I found you can easily put whatever you want on the bag as long as it is 28 stitches across. (I haven't felt like fooling with math, I am sure it could be more or less). |
