Knitting a Shawl for mama
 

I am an extreme beginner on the very start of my knitting journey.

I have read the forum and have decided to select a simple rectangle shawl design.

I am using TLC Amore from RedHeart.

I have 12 ounces of white and 12 ounces of black.

Now my question:

Is it possible, and pretty, to combine the two yarns in doing a simple knit stitch shawl?

And, I want to use the new Ruffle's tape yarn by Lion to finish it off on either end.

Your input/opinion/suggestions, please?

I think that would be very pretty! Experiment and if you don't like it you can always rip back and try something else. :thumbsup:
