Border for baby blanket
Hiya! :waving:
I've just posted this in Whatcha Knittin, so apologies for the duplication! I'm making a baby blanket using patterns taken from the Knitting on the Edge book (Nicky Epstein) but I'm after some ideas/advice.... ![]() I'd like to pick up and knit a nice border around the edge when it's done - I have a nice contrasting cream colour (you might be able to see it in the bottom piccie) - but I'm looking for stitch pattern ideas - anyone? Also, would you block the blanket before adding the border? Or just block it all at the same time - the "columns" in the pattern give it quite a lot of sideways stretch so I though blocking before might be useful - what do you think? ![]() Thanks for looking & thanks in advance for any advice! Best wishes Katie xxx |
