Fingering weight to worsted weight
 

How many strands held together would it take to make fingering weight equivalent to worsted weight?? I have several balls of fingering weight yarn, but what I want to make calls for worsted. Is this possible??

2 strands fingering is approx. 1 strand sport
2 strands sport is approx. 1 strand worsted

So I'd say about 4 strands.

You'd have to swatch to know for sure, but 4 strands is probably a good starting place.
