2 K sts slanting left over 1 P st
I don't know what this stitch sequence means. Could someone help me?

Do you mean like a travelling cable? You'd slip two knits to a cable needle and hold in front, purl one from the left needle and then knit the two from the cable needle.

I'm not sure it's a cable. The pattern should look like the picture at www.straw.com/cpy/patterns/creme-fan.html . Does it look like what you're describing?
Thanks |
Yes, that'll do it for a left leaning cable. For the right-leaning, you hold a purl to the back on a cable needle, knit 2, and then purl the stitch from the cable needle.

Thanks. You've been a great help and so quick. I really appreciate it.
