2 socks on ML- question about turning the heel
 

i am at the point of knitting part of the heel stitches, then turning and doing the short rows. I've looked at the videos I found by googling, but am obviously missing the point somewhere. Can anyone help? Do I do all the rows of one sock, then go back and do all the rows for the 2nd sock, or is there a way to do both socks at once? If so what do I do with those stitches not knit before turning on sock 1?

Thanks, Jane. I figured that was what I had to do, but none of the instructions I found specificaly said that.
