:shrug: Hi! I'm just learning how to knit and have a question about double cast on. That first cast on stitch has 2 loops. Is that considered one stitch or 2 stiches when you are knitting your first row off the cast on.Thanks for your help!

The first cast on stitch makes two loops, and they are counted as two stitches.
