? About Lamb's pride Bulky Yarn

Those of you that have used this yarn please tell me: Is the yarn in the skein the same as that on the one pound cone?

It should be. I think a brand of yarn is the same no matter what form it comes in. The only difference I think would be price-the larger quantity may be cheaper per per oz. Also, they yarn may have different properties being would differently, kinda like when you wind a ball of yarn too tight and it takes some of the loft out of the yarn. Cones have always seemed to be wound pretty tightly to me. Just my thoughts, but I am sure there are many here who have more experience with this particular yarn.
