Free Bunny Blanket Buddy
Lion Brand Bunny Blanket Buddy
Isn't it cute? I ran out to Joann's and got the yarn for it yesterday and I'm over half done already. Velvetspun is a fairly nasty yarn but I wanted it to look just like the photo. It has some YO's in it that show up more if you don't use a fluffy/bulky yarn so I went for the nasty velvetspun btu I think it'll be worth it once I am done! ![]() Anyone want to knit this with me? It's REALLY quick and could easily use up extra stash! Knit it in something washable tho. I am already dreaming of a Rowan Calmer version, or even Plymouth OH MY! I think would be REALLy perfect for it! |
that is so adorable!
Do you have a baby in mind for this gift, or is it just an impulse knit? I seem to have a stash of gifts all knit up, but no babies. I would totally knit this up with you, if ONLY I had the yarn in my stash...sigh. |
I might have to try this one....since it says no gauge ...I think I'll make it with Lionbrand Suede. I think I have a couple balls of that somewhere. Won't be able to start this right now but will soon.

Congrats to you mama, and count me in! I have some Encore chunky at home and friend with a baby girl due in a month. I'll cast on tonight.
Is the Velvetspun really hard to work with? Deb |
yeah I don't like it at all :( I am at the head now and im supposed to go down 2 needle sizes and my fingers are worried its gonna hurt./ It just doesnt have any stretch or give, and thats the problem.

Congratulations mom-to-be! I am pregnant too and would love to do this put I don't the yarn for it. :-/ Maybe I'll get some as your is turning out beautiful!

congrats to you pregger knitters. :star: . :psst:I've been spayed ..
its a good thing :poke: :blooby: :woohoo: |
I've used baby homespun and had them come out great. Also, if you want it smaller, use thinner yarn and smaller needles. A friend of mine did it with two strands of yarn- one cotton and one lion brand microspun- and it came out amazingly soft and about 12" tall...
