Anyone from Central Florida?
I'm on the Gulf side of Central Florida, 1 hour north of Tampa.:sun:
hi, I also live about an hour north of Tampa (New Port Richey)
I'm in Crystal River, north of Florida too. Where do you get your yarns?
I am in Lakeland , in Polk County. I am half way between Tampa to the west and Orlando to the east on the I 4 corridor.
OO I been looking at homes in Holiday and Tarpon Springs. Are there some great shops in those areas? Whats the best thing about your areas?
I visited Rainbows End last week in Dunedin which is a Floridas largest fabric shop, boy was that intimidating. |
I live in New Tampa, about 30 miles east of the coast. There are several knitters in my area and I know of TWO great yarn shops.
I'm in Casselberry, just northeast of Orlando. I'd love to find someone close by to (learn to) knit with. I'm just starting out and books & videos only go so far.
I live in Citrus Springs, on the Gulf Coast about 1 1/2 hours north of Tampa, west of Ocala. We have a great yarn store, Stitch Niche in Dunnellon. She's been open about 3 years
I'm in Winter Springs (northeast of Orlando). I've lived in Orlando since 2000 but I'm originally from Polk County (Lakeland) and I still have family there.
I've been knitting for 8 months but I am self-taught and really feel like I am missing something from not having at least one other real-life knitter to observe. I thought about volunteering at local nursing home or assisted living facility. I figure that there is a greater chance of finding someone who knits and perhaps I can learn from them. |
Brooksville here!
I just started knitting. I live in Ridge Manor on the east side of Hernando Co. Any knitting circles here?
