WIP: simple scarf from "cables untangled"
1 Attachment(s)
Hi Everybody--
I am making this scarf for my boss for Christmas. She's really nice, and when I saw her knitting at a faculty meeting, I soon started doing the same! :rofling: The pattern is "simple scarf" from the simple scarf and hat pattern in Melissa Leapman's "Cables Untangled." The yarn is "Mauve" Valley Yarns Superwash Merino. Although the color isn't one I'd wear myself, the yarn is very soft and squishy. Mornnen |
That is so pretty!

It's really pretty. I think the color shows off the cables nicely, and I'm sure that she'll love such a wonderful gift. :D

I agree, the yarn shows off the beautiful pattern!

Very pretty! One of these days I'm going to get that book. I love cables!
|
That's looking very pretty! I have that book, and  it.
|
It's very nice! The cables are so neat and the yarn shows them off perfectly!

Mariblue--
You have the book? Lucky you-- mine's a library copy --I've jotted down the pattern and it's easy to memorize. What do you think of the pillow pattern in the book? I'm contemplating making it, but it might be beyond my skill level. |
