FO - "Manly" Kureyon hat
Hey everyone! I had the challenge of knitting something for my brother, and I finally decided to just do something really simple that I know he'll like and use. He's an especially "manly" guy, and he's in the military and loves guns/hunting/etc. so I decided to make him a plain wool hat with a really cool, "camo-colored" Noro Kureyon. I LOVE using Kureyon, but I tend not to use very intricate stitch patterns with it, so the colorways really get to shine.
It's nothing especially great, but I like it as a nice, simple wool hat with a great colorway. Here it is: http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...nitting016.jpg Let me know what you think! |
Ooooo - very nice! Bet he'll love it.

It looks beautiful!
Why do you only use links? |
Very nice! A very manly man hat! You did a great job!

I've gotta admit that I had my doubts...until I clicked on the link...
Wow! That turned out perfectly for a guy! I think you picked the perfect yarn and pattern! |
That looks great! My husband would love that hat....I'll have to look more closely at the Kureyon when I'm at the LYS next. Did it just use one ball?
|
Yes, it used almost exactly one skein. I have a very very tiny bit left over. :D
