Crossing Cables without a cable needle;
After a long hot summer here in the North, the weather is certainly letting me know that autumn is approaching quickly.
I have my afghan out and it has cables. Not having been on for quite a while, I was not aware of the new technique, Crossing Cables without a cable needle; I have been trying to locate the 'how to' of Amy's video instructions. Can someone help me. Thank you, and glad to be back online. |
Welcome back!
I can't seem to link to the video, but it's in the Advanced section in the Decorative stitches section. |
Ingrid's right...
Go to: http://knittinghelp.com/knitting/advanced_techniques/ Then scroll down to "Decorative Stitches" and then it's the 2nd video: "NEW! Crossing Cables without a cable needle" Personally it kinda scares me... dropping stitches on purpose! Eek! |
I've watched it as well as a couple of others. I think I'll stick to a cable needle.

I find that front-crossing cables are pretty easy this way, but I don't like losing sight of my stitches on back cables.
