Dying superwash with Kool Aid or Wilton's?

Does superwash roving or yarn dye okay with either of these? I'm in an apartment, and don't have the space or want to deal with anything dangerous or chemical. I'd like to do some superwash roving i think. Will it work? Will it be colorfast?

I've never seen any difference in dyeing superwash or "plain" wool. Until recently the only thing I ever dyed with was KA and Wiltons.

Yes you can! You can dye any kind of animal fiber with those dyes.

What about fading or colorfastness? I've heard the Wilton's fades more but there is a better range of colors. I was thinking of starting out fairly bright, anf some fading isn't a problem but bleeding would be.
