knitting pattern direction help
 

:knitting:Hello, I am increasing the neck edge and now at the same time I need to shape the armhole.
The pattern says "cast off 5 sts at the beg of the next row"(this is a knit only row). Next line is work one row.
The next row is a purl row.
My question is: The work one row-does it mean after casting off the 5sts do i work the row knitting to the end. Or does the work next row mean just purl the next row. Thank You

The casting off row is the knit row. Cast off 5 and work to the end of that row. The 'work 1 row' is the next, purl, row.
