I need pattern for easy but pretty scarf.

I have 3 skeins of blue worsted yarn i think, the yarn does not have any label on it,i bought it on ebay but in the auction it says for us 7-8 needles.
And now i think i want to make a scarf whit but i have not found a pattern that i liked for it so any ideas or fav patterns for scarves?

I'm not sure how easy you want, but what about just K1P1 ribbing? It's a classic look that will never go out of style. Or you could do garter stitch on the diagonal. I think the Irish Hiking Scarf is made out of worsted, but that's cable. Another one is My So called scarf, but that you might have to adjust. Or the Yarn Harlot's new one: http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/archiv...pun_scarf.html

Here are the links to the first two:

I love Silver's scarf. The cables are reversibble so it looks good on both sides and it is super easy.

I agree with stirsmommy. Silver's Palindrome Scarf is very easy and yet looks so nice, and the plus is that it is reversible. It looks the same front and back! I've never made anything so easy in all the time I've been knitting.

I love "My So-Called Scarf". While it calls for US11 needles, you could knit it up on the appropriate needles for your yarn and just resize the number of stitches needed for the rows. It is a super easy and groovy knit, IMO.

Here is my all-time favorite easy scarf. I just finished my third and I'm about a third of the way through another (double-stranded Cascade 220).

For my first scarf project, I didn't want to get stuck doing miles and miles of ribbing or the same two rows repeated over and over.. so I found this:

I'm so in love with the pattern. It was really simple, and after 5 or 6 repeats, I had it memorized. It worked up suprisingly fast too :)

Ooooh, Orca Tails! I've seen that before; this time I marked the pattern. That would look great in SWS, Tapestry, the new Traditions yarn... etc.
