Sweater Pattern...
 Okay, I am a sweater virgin. I am so scared to knit a sweater, socks, or anything where I may need to change colors. So far all I've knit are rectangles. :frog:
A good friend told me that the only reason I am so scared to try something new is because I am a perfectionist and I like to be really good at whatever I do and I'm scared of knitting a crappy project. I think this is true. I'll never get beyond a beginner level if I don't push myself, right?! Does anyone have a not-so-scary beginner sweater pattern for a little girl or for a woman? Thanks in advance! :knitting: |
The 5-Hour Baby Sweater is an easy first sweater pattern. There are several other versions out there. I just made this version only I changed the bottom a little bit and knit the sleeves in the round so I wouldn't have to sew the seam.
Quick Baby Sweater. I know you said little girl, but it might be easier to try a baby one first. It's always great to have a nice baby gift on hand. Good luck. |
Those would have been my suggestions too, easy and nice.
