My first plying attempt

Here is my first attempt at plying. It doesnt show too good, my cam must be acting up, but I used 100% merino wool dyed in amethyst, and spun it with my spindle in about a worsted weight, but tehre are some spot thats might be worsted and a half. I didnt want to make it any thicker than it already is, so I plyed it with a sock yarn that is just too scratchy of a wool to actually use for socks, but the gold and purple look just beautiful together. I have about 3-4 more ounces of this fiber to spin, but was just in a car accident the other night, so spinning is out of the question for probably this whole month, I am banged up pretty good:( Any hoo, here is the pic:)

First of all, I hope you feel better.
Second, a very respectable job of plying. I'm still trying to get plying down myself.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you are recovering well. The yarn looks awesome.
