Yes! White Zinfadel! I think because knitting makes me feel so relaxed. You would think if I were so relaxed I wouldn't need the wine, but I like the combination.

Heck yeah! I love drinking red wine while knitting. I can sip and knit. It's very relaxing, and it keeps me from drinking too much. :teehee:

Yes. However, I have found probably one glass of the grape, two and I would mess up a little, any more than that - well Swiss cheese for a pattern. It is relaxing, I knit in the kitchen and that is where the wine drinking is also. The saying that goes, "I like to cook with wine; sometimes I even put some in the food," well, I don't want red wine in my knitting.......

I was a professional wine writer so knitting and wine are constant companions in this household!

White Zinfandel, Chablis, Pinot Noir, Merlot, I love them all.

But, I usually get a headache with just one glass. So, I have to ration myself.

Yes, but I'm not a huge fan of wine. I prefer Micolob Ultra. But, after a couple, I HAVE to put the knitting down, or I'll have to frog it! At least while knitting, the drinking happens VERY slow, so I'm usually good.

HEHE my hubby loves when I decide to have a glass of wine or mixed drink while knitting b/c I usually forget about my drink and then he can swoop in from behind and take it without me noticing.

I love a nice glass of pinot or reisling while knitting. But usually only once in a great while. I rarely drink (I get goofy and giggly), but it IS relaxing with my knitting!

you all already know I do, remember the Bailys stains in the top down sweater?
I actually made a promise to stop drinking the top shelf stuff this year, the B-52s are expensive way to relax
