Edging on Shawl

I posted this on the crochet thread also, just looking for help.

Edging Help
I just finished a knit shawl, and it needs something on the bottom edge. I don't want to do a fringe.
I attached pics of the shawl and the yarn I would like to use. Does anyone have an idea for me. I have not crocheted in years, so a very simple stitich is the key here.
The shawl will not be a fancy one, just an over the shoulder while I read one.
Any ideas. Thanks

Here's a bunch of crochet edgings.

Jan, thank you for the link. Guess what though, I decided to go with a fringe. Only because after looking at the shawl, I knew it needed something and a little fringe was just enought to dress it up a bit.
I think it turned out looking better with a fringe then just a blunt edging. I may even wear it more now.
Thanks
