Blocking Question...
I'm getting to the end of the illusion scarf I'm knitting, and I'm wondering what would be the best way to block it?
I used an acryllic yarn [even though it said not to, it was cheap, and I needed a yarn that would be not a hassle to wash--it's for my dad]. What is the best way to block a 100% acryllic yarn? Can it be blocked? The scarf didn't curl very much, like the pattern said it would [just the very bottom], but the middle section and the pattern sections are a little uneven width wise. Thanks! Post Script: Sorry for posting so many questions so often....I don't want to seem like a neusance, but I just want to make sure that I do things right!! |
You don't block acrylic because it's not a natural fiber.
