need help with knitting terms

I was reading some of the patterns for beginners and I came across some terms that I didn't understand. I was wondering if someone could direct me to a website with knitting terminology dictionaries or something? I am so confused. lol :???:

Well, this site is a good place to start! I learned a lot watching the videos on KH. I like The Knitting Answer Book, by Margaret Radcliffe. It's a small book that you can easily carry with your knitting, and the illustrations are pretty good. I'm sure there are many other good ones out there that others can recommend, too!

Can you get it at Barnes & Noble or Walden Books?

If you go to the top of the page here at KH there is a tab marked Glossary. Click on that and it has definitions of various knitting terms.
