Size 6 shoe = how many inches?

Quick question for someone who wears a size 6 women's shoe: How big is your foot in inches? Trying to make a pair of slippers for my sister-in-law. Or does anyone know of a chart that convert shoe size to actual foot size? Thanks much! Northern Lights

Not from personal experience...big feet... but 'Sensational Knitted Socks' has a chart with rough measurements. Total foot length for size 6 is 9 inches in there. I don't want to give the whole chart since it's from a book. It's an easy enough book to find. I've seen it in most book stores I've been in and at Hobby Lobby. :)

My size 6-6 1/2 foot is 8.75 inches long from the heel to the big toe.
