Can I substitute this yarn??
 

I was wondering if I could use Red Heart Super Saver instead of Vanna's Choice Baby for this pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...nd-booties-set

According to what I found on ravelry they are both worsted, acrylic.
I have always followed the pattern reccomendations for yarn, so just wanted to check and make sure its okay before I cast on.

OMG, that sure is a cute pattern!

You'll want to make a guage swatch first. The pattern says 16 stitches = 4". So cast on about 25 stitches and knit for 5 inches then measure across the center 4" and if you get 16 stitches, you are good to go. Switch needle size up or down one size if you're a bit off.

Yes, they're very similar yarns so go ahead and sub. I wouldn't bother to swatch, it would be larger than the bootie, so just start in and watch your gauge as you go along.
