Shoulder Shaping
 

The sweater I'm knitting is coming along nicely, thanks to all the great help I've received. I just want to double check something with regard to the shoulder shaping instructions:

"Bind off 4 at armhole edge twice, then 5 sts once"

Does this mean I:

bind off 4, knit remaining row
knit one row
bind off 4, knit remaining row
knit one row
bind off 5, knit remaining row

Are you working the back or one of the fronts?

It kind of sounds like a front and that's just what you'd do.

I am trying to figure this out myself. Mine says "bind off 7 sts at armhole once, bind off 6 sts at shoulder once. Does that mean:
bind off 7 sts...knit to end
bind off 6 sts...purl to end

Please help someone

You would BO 7 at the armhole edge then 6 at the shoulder, which should be the same edge, so there might be several rows between them. What pattern is it?
