A quick quick question
 

Hi there,

I am currently working on a top down raglan sweater for my son and have just finished the first sleeve. I am knitting on circular needles. The next set of instructions tell me to "join yarn and knit across 52 stitches". I can see the 52 stitches I need to knit across, but I don't know how to "join yarn" on already live stitches on the needle...

Any help would be appreciated

Just pick up a strand of yarn and knit the sts. Leave a tail long enough to weave in. The first couple sts may be loose for a few rows, but you can pull on the tail to tighten them; they won't come out even if you don't.
