A little mohair
 

I just got a little boucle mohair, about 200 yards each in two colours...

What should I make with it? 75% mohair, 25% wool...

One is white the other is auburn. I was thinking skinny scarf..I have never used a boucle type yarn....

ah well...perhaps I will throw it on my heddle loom and see what I can get?

What in the world is a "heddle loom"?

I bet your boucle mohair would look great done up into a super-stretchy, open lacey pattern with 35s or even 50s! Then it could be a wider wrap rather than a skinny scarf.

A regular harness loom for weaving items, not like a knitting loom.

I haven't strung it up yet...ever...but it could be fun!

I bought it cause I saw the knitters loom and someone told me that the rigid loom is the same, only doesn't fold up. I figured I wasn't going to start carrying a loom around with me...so for $100 less, I bought the rigid one...

I'm using some mohair to knit an enlongated stitch scarf for a cousin. The fuzziness works really well for the open spots.
