Convert crochet pattern to knit
 

I found a crochet pattern for a dress. I never crocheted. Can it be converted to a knit pattern?

depends on the pattern but you might just learn crochet, it really is easy.

Is it too hard to do an intermediate pattern if I never crocheted before?

There is a book about converting from crocheting to knitting, but I can't remember the name of it-- From Needle to Hook or somthing like that? Try searching on Amazon for it. The whole book was about imitating the stitch patterns and converting patterns.
