Company Name Suggestion?

Im finding myself knitting alot for hire...I supose i need to call myself something, because i like to put tags on the things i make so they will know fiber content and washing instructions...

But what?

Im always saying "life gets in the way of my knitting" but thats too long.

Heres what i do...
I custom make socks to size/color/fiber/ect.
well...i do that for about anything a person would order, not just socks.

Im currently designing/making things for a shop to sell...so there is no preorder there...i just make things for them to sell based on what they want in the store. In turn, their customers are ordering stuff from seeing my things in the store, custom to their wants/needs.:cheering:

I suppose I would make just about anything a person would want so somehow i would like to convey that in the name. or maybe not? lol

Im really not good at this sort of thing...I just would like to have something to put on the other side of the card I place on the item i make. I thought a good catchy/funny/effective name would be good.

Would appriciate any suggestions from yall...:hair:
Thanks
Melissa

PS...A friend of mine suggested "Cast On For You" What yall think of that one?

I like Cast On For You. Sorry, I'm not going to be good at coming up with something else either. It does seem like a good idea to have your own label though.

I like the Cast On For You, a lot. People here are ordering my beanies from my husband and kids, and I'm getting those things made as fast as they can get me the yarn, but I could never do what you're doing. I'd like to see how this turns out for you so keep us posted.

OK! Ill keep yall posted.

I think ill use that name then. I think it conveys that I do custom work. Which is really just about what I do. I hope no one else has that name..LOL I did a quick google and couldnt find anything, but that dont mean a thing.

Keep the opinions commin tho!!

thanks a mil!

I like "Cast On For You." It is catchy.

Seems to be unanimous. I don't think you're going to improve upon "Cast On For You", if you want to stick with just custom made things. However if you would want to do other work (to sell in local store, etc) you might want to think about that too.

I thought you had it with not just socks...

but maybe something more like:

Knot Knit Socks...

Thats a good one too!!

Ive printed up some tags with "Cast on for You" on them. Ive attatched them to the items I delivered today. Lets see how this goes.
I did run this name by a friend who knows nothing of crafts.....I had to explain what "Cast on" was. This may be an issue. I am knitting for people (mostly) who know nothing of crafts. Is this a delema? Or does this strengthen my point of "knitting" custom work?

Thanks again!!

How about your handle: "LissaPlus2"?
"Sockit 2 Ya"
"Socken" ( to sock in Deutsche, or Socke in the noun version)

*actually reading the rest of your posts* Well, for your next business...
