FO - Lacy Shawl

I just finished a shawl...Lacy Shawl...from the Prayer Shawl Companion book.

I made this for Figaro's neighbor, who tragically lost a young son before Thanksgiving.

Rabbitrescuer sent me a couple of skeins of Caron Simply Soft (Grey Heather).

This is a super-easy pattern. I completed seven sections and added the fringe on the bottom.

I love the lacy pattern. I used size 10 1/2 needles. It almost looks like a crocheted item (to my non-crochet knowledgeable eyes).

The Caron Simply Soft drapes soooo nicely!!

The project used 674 yards (a little over two skeins).

What a joy to knit!

Thanks for looking at my project!

Very Pretty! I bet your neighbor will love it. My condolences for her. I know what it is to lose someone very suddenly .

It is just beautiful and I hope it brings her some comfort while she mourns...

How beautiful, both the though and the gift itself. Nice work!

That is beautiful - both the knitting and the comfort it will bring. She is lucky to have you.

Very nice! And thanks so much for all of the great photos! I love to see things from many angles! A gray shawl is very classy! Kudos to you!

That does look a lot like crochet. Can you list the instructions here for that stitch pattern, not the shawl itself?
