I learned on dpns, but I just find two circs so much more convenient. Never liked the ML method, as someone else pointed out: too much sliding!

I have made many soakers (albeit 25 years ago) and they really must be felted heavily to be effective. Just an FYI so you can size accordingly.

Yeah, and could they differentiate between cast-on(co) and cast off (co)? The code is the same, wouldn't bind-off (bo) be more efficient?

I prefer patterns that list sizes and tell you how many stitches/row etc. because I rarely have measurements for the person I am knitting for (unless it's for me) but I can always ask for a size.
