What an awesome hat! It looks a bit scary since I'm quite the novice.
If I can't come up with a simpler pattern I might give this a shot. I shouldn't have waited until the last minute to come up...

Skull pattern hat?

I'm having trouble finding anything like this because I keep getting "skull cap" patterns. I want a tobbogan, hat, what have you with an actual skull to be knit for a man.
