The video does not show this sequence. Do I place the yarn behind the needle, then wrap or just carry the yarn up over the needle, then knit the next stitch

I see what you mean. sort of overlap the two edges with the collar covering the top edge of the neck of the sweater. I will give that a try and see what it looks like. this is a first for me.

I have used a sock yarn from Southwest Trading company which is not warm on my feet. I believe it is Socktina. it has some no wool natural fibers, including I believe bamboo. I love those socks.
