Spinning spider silk

This AM I came across a very interesting article about a gorgeous woven textile made with thread spun of spider silk. It's gold in color, but did not require dyeing....

I'm no expert, but have made lots of sox. I slip k wise on knit side and p wise on purl side. It isn't all that crucial, really. Have fun - sox are among my very favorite things to knit!
