I am doing a pattern where you cast on 12, knit the first 3 rows, then switch to k1,*yo,knit 2 together,repeat from * ending with a knit stitch.

When knitting and pattern calls to "Turn work"---what does that mean? Up or down, flipped, left or right, clockwise? This may be a dumb question, but I don't get it

Ok...I think I got the knit, purl, cast on/off stuff down ok. However, I think I'm kind of a tight knitter--binding off and k2tog are a bear, because the stitches are so tight I have to really work...
