Help:LACE PATTERN SIZE INCREASE

I'm starting a shawl lace pattern (multiples 12+6). Cast is 78 sts for a finished size of 18in. I want to make it at least 24in. How many more sts do I need to cast on?

Question Help with pattern instruction

I'm knitting Caron Scalloped edge Cami. On first turn second row It says Ch 8 (counts as dc, ch4) *dc in ch 4 space. Does this mean to skip the first chain 4 space or to do the dc in the first chain...

I'm knitting a headband and the pattern reads:
Make all incs on right side rows. When the piece measures 8 cm inc all P 1 to P 2 . I think it's purling in the front and back loop but when I do this...

A headband. And yes they are short rows. I'm new to knitting and have never seen this on a pattern before. The previous row is a 2X2 rib.

What does this mean? "Row 2: Work in 2x2 Rib as set to last 2 sts, turn work." Is it don't do the last two sts and turn the work around with the sts still on the needle?
