What does "In next st" mean?

a row in my pattern says:

K2, *p5 [k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1] in next st; rep from * to last st, end k1

does this mean k2, then repeat p5, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1 until last stitch, then k1?
