Curly Purly question

Is this right? A leg opening of 10 inches? I just finished grafting the crotch and these leg openings look HUGE! I'm planning on putting a 1x1 rib on the legs, but still this doesn't look right......

You knit up a garment with a hand dyed yarn. When you wash said garment, the dye releases leaving you with a "bleached out" garment instead of the bright colors...
