Joining sides

Isn't there a video here that teaches how to join two sides? I made a doll and need to join the sides together. I have forgotten how to do this so the seam doesn't show. Please help!

Ending a row

When ending a row and it's time to slip stitch, how can I make the row not look so uneven. I mean, you can tell where the last row ended and it looks uneven.

Thanks Jan. I made a beach bag and it seemed just right, but after putting towels in it, the bag stretched nearly to the floor! I hope it WILL shrink. I used 100% cotton yarn.

Has anyone ever had cotton yarn, such as Sugar n Cream or other cotton yarn, shrink? Should size be considered when using 100% cotton?

M1

When a pattern says M1, I know that is an increase, but it only says M1, not M1R or M1L, or M1A......just M1. Which increase do I use?

Thanks Jan, I still don't get it, and her link doesn't work for that video, so I guess I'll have to pass on it. Such a cute little lamb though, I hate not to be able to figure it out.

Cute little Lamb...confusing pattern

I saw this very cute lamb pattern and thought it would be simple to knit. Once I printed it out, I read over the pattern and had no idea what it's talking about. When does the "double knitting"...
