oh pretty :) I think predrafting is really important to make sure you get all the little snurggles out of the roving and to get it to the thickness you prefer to work with; even if it is pencil...

I've touched it at the LYS, but never spun with it...it's really soft. I'm not sure if it's from just a particular part of the buffalo, though, like the underbelly. Let us know what you do with it!

so maybe it wasn't all the way dry? If you hang it out in the sun for an afternoon, maybe it will completely dry and get rid of the wet wool smell.
