Knitter's Cove is on Union Blvd, near Constitution, but I guess that's quite a bit west of you. My daughter lives near Powers & Dublin. I couldn't find one over in that area.

Turning is the problem I have with crochet, too. I always think I'm doing exactly as I'm supposed to, and yet my rows often get shorter, or wider. :??

My crochet skills are very basic, but I have made a few dishcloths, plus I inherited a few from my mom. You are right, that they do work best. The crochet creates a thicker fabric.
